Bio:
Hello! My name is Jocelyn Bailon Lopez and I am SO thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten this year at St. George School! I recently graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies, and I will be going back to school to earn my teaching credential along with my master's degree. I have been working with children for about 5 years and have truly loved it. I started as a program leader for Think Together, and then went on to become a teacher assistant for Preschool at Our Lady Of Lourdes School. For the past 2 years, I have been the lead Preschool teacher at St. Margaret Mary School.
I am a family-oriented person and love making memories with my family and friends. I am also a crazy dog mom to my 2-year old Boxer, Kahlua and one year old Xena! I adore being with them and taking them with me everywhere I go! Some other hobbies I enjoy are baking, cooking, going hiking, and walking with my girls.
I love working with children and truly have a passion for teaching. With that said, I feel beyond blessed and grateful to have been give the opportunity to share my passion, love of learning, and faith in God with the community at St. George School. I will bring my positive attitude and smile with me to Kindergarten each day, as my ultimate goal is to make my students feel excited to come to school and excited to learn. We are going to learn, grow, and have fun together! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!
