Monthly Book Reports: Schedule on the side below

There will be 5 book reports this school year. They  will be presented in class. These are creative book projects to spice up our reading program. These fun, hands-on projects will hold your child accountable for their reading and are sure to motivate even the most reluctant reader. Each engaging project includes a student handout explaining what to do and a grading rubric.

Each child will need to read a book that is within their AR reading level. Their reading level was given to them last year and every time they take a STAR test it is reassessed. Books should be at least 70-140 pages long for book reports (there may be exceptions depending on reading level of the individual). I will assign each book report  about a month in advance. Project instructions, rubrics, and due dates are in a link to the right of this page.
