St. George Parish School

About the Teacher

I am thrilled to start the beginning of my fifth year teaching at Saint George, in the place where I began five years ago, the 5th grade! I have loved being a part of the junior high community these past years, yet I am extremely excited to share my love of learning with this year’s fifth graders.

Before joining the Saint George family, I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a BA degree in Liberal Studies as well as completed my credential classes in the summer of 2012. I kicked off my student teaching at Sierra Lakes Elementary where I taught 5th grade, and concluded my student teaching at Anton Elementary where I taught in a Bilingual Kindergarten classroom. I hold a preliminary Multiple Subject credential with a BCLAD (Bilingual Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development). In the past I have worked for the City of Fontana’s After School Program where I was in charge of 5th & 6th graders. In addition, I also worked for the Etiwanda School District as an instructional aide for students with disabilities.

Want to know a little more about me? Well… I love our Catholic faith! My husband and I are active at our parish, St. Catherine of Siena; we sponsor couples that are getting married in our parish. We truly enjoy sharing our faith with others! We love animals, and are the proud parents of Bambina & Cali, Concha, and several fishes. For 8 years we only had each other, but in 2016 we were blessed with our son Vincent Xavier. The birth of my son was truly an answered prayer! I learned a new level of love when he entered our world.

To be the best teacher for your child, I attended the annual Teacher's Summit over the summer to inspire me and give me more resources to make this a memorable year.  I keep current on trainings such as: trainings in use of technology for I-PADs, Smart board, and Common Core. In addition, I have completed First Aid/CPR training and the annual Safe Environment for the Protection of Children workshop. In addition, I attended a CaPSPD ( California Private School Professional development) whose focus was entirely in math.

I want you to know that one of my most important goals is to keep the lines of communication open with you. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at I am delighted to share my love and passion for teaching with all my students. I look forward to meeting my new students and working alongside their parents in making this a memorable school year.
