Welcome

St. George School is the third oldest school in our diocese and has been in continuous operation since 1920.  We extend a warm welcome to the visitors of our school and our website. Our school’s strength lays in our partnership with our students, their parents and our St. George Parish community. The Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange were the first teachers and administrators of our school.  The Sisters of St. Joseph charism is: “We Live and Work to Bring People into Union with God and with One Another, through Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy”. That is still true today. The Sister's charism can be found in both our Community Service projects and in our school motto: "Catholic Students Today ~ Catholic Leaders Tomorrow".

Upcoming Website Changes

~ although most adjustments are complete; some minor changes will be added to our website. Our school has set-up a Facebook account.  We will soon add a link on the homepage.  Please follow us for news and updates.  We are working on adding a Utube link soon.

Sign-up Today!

~ Our School will have a 6 week Summer School program for Pre-Kindergaten through 7th grade. Weeks are purchased in advance one week at a time. Also available is a Summer Math/Tech Camp for Junior High School students. This program has space for only 18 students, so sign-up early. Students meet in the Computer Lab 4 days a week 3 hours a day for individualized study and work.

Student Council Elections

~ Our students are getting ready for the annual Student Council Elections. The final day for sign-ups is April 30th. Those who are running for office will be notified by May 3rd and Campaigning begins May 7th. Speeches will be given on May 9th at 9:00 a.m. and the Elections will be held after Mass on the 10th. Election results will be reported at the Thursday Assembly at 2:00 p.m.
