Monday

  • MATH finish page 460 problems #1-12 Estimate #2, 4, 6.
  • VOCABULARY- finish word, definition, picture from page 86 in reading book
  • READING - Read a chapter book that has more than 60 pages for 15 mins. Then write a summary (1 paragraph) on the reading log

Tuesday

  • MATH Workbook Page 21
  • ENGLISH - Commands and Exclamations

Pgs 15 & 16

  • Read a chapter book that has more than 60 pages for 15 mins. Then write a summary (1 paragraph) on the reading log

Wednesday

  • Math Workbook Pg 22
  • Project Disciple Pgs 41 read with parent, do activity and have parent sign
  • Read your book for 15 mins. Then write a summary (1 paragraph) on the reading log

Thursday

  • Math Workbook Pg 23 - estimate the evens and add the odd problems
  • SLE homework needs to be in your religion journal write the SLE and then write one paragraph (at least 3 sentences) about how you did this SLE this week. Have parent sign!
  • Read your book for 15 mins. Then write a summary (1 paragraph) on the reading log

Reminders:

  • Book Fair open all week from 8 to 3.
  • Testing continues this week! ! Please be here on ON TIME, ready to test!
  • There is Living Rosary on Thursday in the Lucas Hall at 9AM. Please wear church clothes and bring an offering. We don’t need to bring flowers. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join us for this special celebration!

  • Read-a-thon on Friday. We will be reading all morning, please bring books to read, a small pillow, and something to lay on (blanket or beach towel) PLEASE keep in mind that we will be laying on the floor to read and there are A LOT of us J
  •  
  • Don’t forget to get your READ-A-THON donations and bring them to CLASS on Friday morning. I will collect all money to send to the office. Also, I will make a donation in each of your names. So everyone is starting off with $5 and you can add to it to help our class do their best! ! !

  • Dress for Friday will be sweats or shorts and a t-shirt. It is not FREE DRESS so please follow that guideline and be comfortable and able to be on the floor.

  • September Book Reports were awesome! Please note that October Book Reports are due Thursday, October 29th. You should be reading an autobiography book this month. Don’t wait. . . find your book now!

Wednesday

  • SPELLING missed words from pretest
  • Read your book for 15 mins. Then write a summary (1 paragraph) on the reading log

Thursday

  • Math Workbook Pg 20

  • IOWA Testing begins this week! ! Please be here on ON TIME, eat a good breakfast and be ready to test.

  • Mr. Eddie, our choir director, is creating a third grade choir. It will practice every other Thursday after Mass. 3rd grade choir will only practice during school time. They will sing at school masses on Thursday AND Sunday. Please have your students let me know if they want to be in this choir. Practice starts THIS Thursday.

  • There is Mass on Thursday. Please wear church clothes and bring an offering.

  • Friday is a minimum day. School is out at noon. Day Care and lunch are available.
