Hello! My name is Michelle Medina and I am very excited for a new 2022-2023 school year, as the third grade teacher.  Even more thrilling is the fact that I get to work with amazing students.  This will be my 5th year working at St. George.  

 

Aside, from my experience here at St. George, I've worked with children on and off for about 20 years.  I have worked with 6 weeks old to the 8th gravel level.  I've taught in the primary level but this will be my 4th year in the middle grade level.

 

I have my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Early Child development from Cal Poly Pomona.  I've also completed my PMFP certificate and  my future goal is to become a Eucharistic Minister.  I have completed many  workshops and trainings to keep up in the education system. 

 

On a personal note, I have 2 beautiful children that attend St. George. AJ is 12 years old and will be in 7th grade, he has been at St. George since Kindergarten.  Mila is 7 years old and will be in 3rd grade and has been here since Jr. Kinder. I am married to my high school sweetheart and been married for 12 years.  We both are  Bishop Amat alumni's (GO LANCERS!!!!!) and both graduated from Cal Poly Pomona.  My husband and I love watching our children play sports, enjoy going to the movies, baseball games, Disneyland, and traveling.
