Welcome! My name is Ms. Moreno and I’m so excited to be your child’s first-grade teacher this year. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English Linguistics from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). After graduating I became an English High School teacher for 1 year. During this time I took graduate-level coursework toward a Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). I also had the opportunity to volunteer at an ESL adult school.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a warm, inclusive classroom where students feel safe to grow in faith, explore, and develop a lifelong love for learning. I’m passionate about supporting language development and literacy in young learners. I look forward to working together to make this a fantastic school year!
