Hello! My name is Miss. Moreno and I am so happy to be a part of St. George! More importantly, I am thrilled to be your 1st grade teacher! It's going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures! I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us! I want to know all about you but first I'm going to tell you a few things about myself!
Growing up I always knew I wanted to become a teacher, so I would volunteer as a catechism teacher, and I would help in daycares. Then I became a Preschool teacher for 5 years, during these years I earned my B.A in English Linguistic at CSUSB. After graduating I became an English High School teacher for 1 year. During this time I took TESOL and Linguistic M.A classes at CSUF. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at an ESL adult school. This will be my third year here at St. George and could not be more excited to not only be teacher but grow in my faith while teaching my students about God's love.
Some of my favorites: I love to read, craft, go to the movies and spend time with my family! I also love dinosaurs, chocolate and all things glitter!
