Said has died and is now survived by his synonyms. He was overused in writing and conversations, so now it is time for us to put to use the 100s of other verbs that mean the same as "said." On the tombstone, you will add his birth year-death.... ex. 420-2023. You can make up the starting year, but his death date must be 2023. Please complete the handout on subjects and predicates for homework. Make sure you circle the complete subject and underline the complete predicate for #s 1-6. For #s 7-12, you want identify the missing part of the sentence and complete it in your own words. Label the part you added as "S" for the subject or "p" for the predicate.

All About Me should include a minimum of 8 slides

6. Favorite teams, players, amusement parks, or places traveled.
7. If you were to look back on your presentation 20 years later, include symbols and pictures that would represent growing up as a kid in the 21st century. This can be pictures of shows, ways we communicate, popular songs and artist..etc. On my slide it would have a picture of a VCR, Laser Disc..etch.
